For VA Referrals: Please follow the VA Referral Process Document linked here.
For Non-VA Referrals (any referral that does not come from the VA/Triwest):
You will receive referrals via our HIPAA compliant Hushmail. We will check the clients insurance and verify their benefits before sending the referral your way.
After receiving a referral via Hushmail, please respond to the scheduling coordinator if you do or do not accept.
If it’s a non-VA referral (essentially any referral outside of the VA/Triwest), please follow the steps below:
1. Connect with your patient: Please contact the patient to assess fit and schedule an appointment.
2. Let the referring source know (we will give you their number): After an appointment is made, please contact the referring source to inform the date of the appointment with the patient.
3. Alert us, so we can let billing know to be ready for your claim : Finally, email via Hushmail the scheduling coordinator the date of the scheduled appointment.
Please note, Help Therapy does our best to ensure that the clients that we send to you match your specialty and specifics. You do not have to accept every referral that is sent to you, but we ask that either way you respond to our email to let us know how you would like to proceed so that we ensure the patient is matched with the appropriate therapist as quickly as possible.
